I am using EMC9 (Vista) and its accompanying Dazzle DVC90 to TRY to capture videos. Everything APPEARS to be progressing superbly - for about 10-30 sec. Then capture suddenly stops and the "Unknown Error" message asks me to save the video. The saved video is invariably empty (0 sec. / 0 bytes). I've tried a variety of settings/input (broadcast TV, unprotected video, copyrighted DVD, with/without a Signal Stabilizer)... same results every time. I have yet to capture a video. Downloading the "latest" drivers from Pinnacle and Roxio hasn't helped. Has anybody who had similar problems with the DVC90 and EMC9 (Vista) found a real solution yet? Please share!

When you are able to capture are you getting sound and video or just video for those 10-30 sec?
I've seen this happen when people are only getting video and no audio.

--Thanks for your input! I heard about the people without audio, but I had sound and vision, everything appeared fine while the program appeared to be capturing. But the capture files were 0 bytes and empty. No longer an issue, however. I downloaded version 9.1 and now my Easy Media Creator captures video from the Dazzle as it should have being doing all along. From the posts I just read under the topic "Dazzle," I should consider myself lucky; some folks after downloading EMC 9.1 still aren't having any luck with this!

There is nothing new in 9.1 but it appears it acted as a Repair and fixed something that was broken…
