unspecified error frustrating

Help,

while trying to create a slideshow and then go back to preview it I keep getting unspecified error. No details about what the error is. I Havent had any luck with this program since I bought it. Running windows xp.

You don't give enough information for anyone to start to help you.

Please post your PC specs (CPU, graphics card or onboard graphics, RAM, available space on drive, etc. If you do so by editing yor signature (click My controls at top right of the forum), it will be available in all your posts (see mine below as an example).
You say you have XP: is that XP SP2 and fully updated?
Are your graphics divers updated?

Please say which module in EMC 9 you are using to create the slideshow. The best one is Videowave, as that gives you many more options.

Also, tell us something about the slide show, e.g. what transition effects are you using?

XP Pro SP3 , IE 8, WMP 11, all updates. Creator 2011 Pro.
