I just upgraded to MyDVD9 from DVD LE 4 because I wanted to be able to include slide shows on my home video DVDs.  I only have three styles in the new version: wedding, beach, & seasons.  I contacted the $1.89 help line and was told there should be more but they weren't sure how many or what.  They said to uninstall my old version and more styles would show up.  They also said I could save old DVD projects to "Destination drive = Image" so I could import into DVD9, but this is not an option.  Here's the dilema: I'm not really trusting the help guy advice because of the bad advice regarding old files.  If there aren't more styles in DVD9 I just want to keep my old version but I'm not sure I can get it back on my computer if I take it off because it came loaded with the computer.

Can you tell me what styles there are in DVD9 and do you think they will all show up if I unistall the old version and reinstall the new version afterward?

uninstalling the old version probably will not help. Was there a second disk?  usually the Content disc has the additional DVD menu styles.  I'm not familiar with the separate MyDVD 9 install, but if there is a second disc, you need to install one , too.

Thank you so much!!  That was it.  I downloaded the files and I thought one of them had something to do with the Extended Download Service that I purchased.  I can't believe I got such bad advice from the $1.89/min support guys.  Everything they told me was incorrect!

If you send me a private message with the title of Paid support and any other details you can give me regarding the transaction I will have this looked into.

I hate to admit that I'm this stupid, but I'm not sure how to send a private message.  All the info I have is the ticket number that was generated from the original call and then two response e-mails from where I re-opened the ticket.

Click on John's name above his picture and you'll be taken to a John's profile and you'll see a 'communicate' area on the right with 'send a personal message'.  The rest is easy.
