Does anyone know how to change the mask color in Videowave? Black is boring.

Trying to find were the masks live in the programming but have not been successful.

If i can find where they are I think i can change them.

Any Suggestions.

Thanks

What I'm looking to do is to make the black overlay masks in VideoWave and make them something other than black. There has toi be a wat=y of doing that.

Any Suggestions???

No way to do that as far as I can tell, but you can create your own masks in PhotoSuite or any other image editor. Just save the file to PNG with transparent background. Then place that file on an overlay in Videowave.

Perhaps you could use Photosuite or other photo editing program to modify some of the overlay "masks" that are found under the ..\content\overlay folder under \program Files\Roxio .. . You could search for the filename of the overlay you are using, such as "binoculars.png". I only have EMC 10 installed but I believe EMC 9 works similarly.

I tried it in V9 and it works as you suggest myguggi. In addition to changing the color, you can play with the effects in Photosuite to make them semi transparent and/or soft bordered, etc. You can also make overlays with the clipart, or grab one of the projects and make an overlay out of that. I'm not too familiar with using Photosuite but I played around with it and it seems to work pretty well.
