I'm getting the BSOD from Sonic programs and can't get the fix because the only technician that handled the fix has now left the company. So I figure my best option now is to remove all Sonic programs from my computer.
I have checked under add/remove programs and find the following listed:
Sonic DLA
Sonic MyDVD
Sonic Record Now!
Sonic Update Manager
Can I just use the remove function and solve my problem or are there other changes I need to make for complete removal?

I am getting a "Sonic Update Manager" message on my desktop when turning on my computer. It states I need a disc to install. I have tried to 'uninstall', but get a message that that in installation is in progress. How do I get rid of this message? (I am not computer proficient!)

download Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and you can remove Sonic Update Manager from the list
