How come when i just add 2 700mb AVI file in, it takes over 7gb to burn onto a disc? is there a way to make it smaller then 7gb just for only 2 videos???

What kind of .AVI file? BD project? I've taken some Divx .AVI files that were 700mb and re-encoded to DVD and just a 4000mbs the MPEG2 ended up about 3gig. Also, if you build to 'volume' you can see how much space it takes up before actually doing the burn.

File size essentially means nothing. It's the time lebgth of your video that is more important. A standard 4.7GB DVD will hold 60 minutes of video at best quality. Reducing quality will allow more.
