How do I prevent the program from running EVERYTIME I insert a disk?

You could disable or deinstall 'Drive To Disc', if installed.

In Windows Explorer, right click the CD or DVD drive in question. Choose Properties. Go to the AutoPlay tab. Then specify the action that will be performed automatically by Windows corresponding to each type of file.

My apologies.

Everytime I insert a disk, the Roxio Creator Basic launches and displays the copy disk window.

Is that a blank disk?

Try the suggestion I posted above.

That's it! I had to change the AutoPlay settings... For some reason, all of them were set to open the Media Creator... dry.gif
