A friend and I are both using EMC 9 and use Easy Audio Capture to capture media files from the Internet. (no not Kazaa) My program works perfectly. In the dialalog box the Input command is set to Wave Out Mix.

My friend who has the same program and for some reason does not have the Wave Out Mix command and he is unable to download files. It simply does not show. We have played with all of the Input command choices and find nothing that will work.

It appears that we need the Wave Out Mix command to make it work.

Would it work to uninstall the program and reinstall it? I keep reading horror stories on the difficulties in trying to uninstall EMC 9. I know that when I tried to uninstall EMC 7.5 that I was unable to do so and wound up having to start over and reformat my machine. I don't want to have to do that again. unsure.gif

Much depends on the sound card or onboard audio used. Most sound cards work perfectly well with capturing audio while many users with onboard audio have problems.
Can you post back the 2 system configurations with specifics on the sound devices?

I will have to get that information later as I don't have access to that computer right now. As soon as I get it I will reply
