I've calibrated my printer to the HP Deskjet 5740. But when I print a label with Print Disk Outline on, the printed disk outline does not center exactly on the label. My inkjet prints on the bottom of the sheet on the paper tray. Do I need to consider this when I calibrate?

A trick I picked up years ago for calibration

Get a used label sheet (one where the labels have been peeled off) and keep that to one side

Print a label on a blank sheet of plain paper and hold it behind the label sheet (you should be able to see the printed label through the backing sheet)

Measure in millimetres how far it is offset horizontally and vertically and set your calibration to match that
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

The calibration should work to the hole sheet, but it should be done with the same Format your industrial paper has.

You have also to select the correct brand and number of your used paper. (the positions for the different brands and numbers will differ)

You also can make a fine tune if you click the button beside the calibration button.
