When I try the firewire digital capture from my Sony digital 8 camera to the PC the results are somewhat grainy compared to the original video.

I've tried launching the capture from EMC and also from Windows Movie Maker with the same results.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Enthusiast was a hit and run poster. He never came back and answered my question. I'll ask you the same question. What format are you capturing as? If you are using a firewire cable, then you should be capturing as DV-AVI.

Edit: Follow responses in your other thread.
