EMC Suite V9 Updater _1Z26QZS0RU3

I was recently advised that the updater listed in the Topic Title was the long awaited update/patch for version 9. I downloaded and tried to install it but got this error message: Setup cannot find a valid version of this software to upgrade. Please make sure that you are using the correct upgrade version.

What follows is what I extracted from the About menu of my version 9 EMC. Can anyone tell me why the update won't install? Thanks.

You already have the latest version - the reason there is a difference in build numbers is that the update is a patch and yours is original - there's no other difference

btw - never post a CD key or serial here and make life easy for pirates
