Whenever Yahoo updates its MusicJukeBox, my installation of RecordNow9 Music Lab gets screwed up and it goes into an endless cycle of trying to reinstall itself. A box comes up entitled "Roxio Easy Archive" and it says: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternative path to folder containing installation package Roxio Record Now9 Music Lab Premier.msi in the box below." If I hit cancel, I get another message stating it can't find the installation package. If I hit ok, it tells me the path cannot be found. I then have to go into task manager and kill the process.
I searched my hard drive and I don't have this .msi file. I end up unistalling and re-installing music lab without selecting yahoo musicjukebox as part of the installation program. This works until the next update.

Sounds like it's mucking up a line in the registry, which has to be restored.
Unfortunately, the Digital Gurus who have a hobby of checking registry edit changes don't deal with the Sonic products.
If you can find what line is being changed, you can make a backup and restore after Yahoo does it's thing.
Other than that, you're probably stuck doing what you're doing. You might try asking Yahoo ...
or perhaps asking on one of the general Forums like afterdawn or cdfreaks.

It's not a registry key causing your problem. It looks more like a Yahoo installer script.
Since reinstalling RecordNow9 Music Lab is already part of your fix, how about trying this:
-copy your RecordNow9 Music Lab from its disc, onto your hard drive.
-next time you install, do the install from the hard drive so the installer points to the hard drive instead of the optical drive. (the .MSI file should be on the hard drive now)
-next time Yahoo updates and activates the installer, the .MSI file should be found.

I am installing from the download file I purchased from Roxio so it is on my hard drive. Is there a way of expanding this .exe file?

I don't know, since I don't have the download. However if it's an executable archive (ZIP or RAR made into an EXE) then you should be able to open and expand it with a program like WINZIP or WINRAR.
You shouldn't have to do this though, it sounds like the Yahoo program is being a real P.I.A.
