Hello to all after Encore this is my first time trying DVDit pro.

I am making my subtitles with Subtitles Creator v2.2 and until now I could import this as a txt file into Adobe Encore.
I am saving and saving but each time there is a error importing this into DVDit pro.

Does any one knows Subtitles Creator v2.2? and like what I need to save this subtitle? There are many options so please some one?
I saved the txt file with UltraEdit-32 as UTF-16
The file starts like this:
QUOTE
00:01:58:01 00:02:04:22 Republic of Macedonia with it’s
own fantastic geographic position
00:02:05:12 00:02:09:15 great conditions and ideal
preconditions, is a country with
00:02:09:15 00:02:13:18 immense potential of producing
and exportation of lamb meat

Thanks, Peter.

Is there any one that knows in which format or any other software if no one knows this creator for subs?

open up the DVDit Pro HD manual and look on page 192. That should give you information on subtitles.

Thanks Scott, I did that long before I ever posted the question.
Also the question was about how to save this into the subtitle creator?
Or is there som one that can suggest software to create subtitles that DVDit HD is accepting?

But I have done it now with Encore, still strange that I could not do this with DVDit.
Next time better luck wink.gif

hi Unetwork,

For my experiences, i think your problem may be related to the RED part, try to fix the timecode without overlap, say>>

00:01:58:01 00:02:04:22 Republic of Macedonia with it’s
own fantastic geographic position
00:02:05:12 00:02:09:15 great conditions and ideal
preconditions, is a country with
00:02:09:16 00:02:13:18 immense potential of producing
and exportation of lamb meat

>>>it should work, or sometimes the space char. on the Txt file may cause the software have IMPORT ERROR, like in the OLD sonic DVD studio in G3. hope helpful, but not sure smile.gif

Hi SYNC thanks for the idea but this also does not work.
Strange enough Encore accepts the subs with no problem at all.
Do you might have any idea which software I can use in the future and not to have any import problem in DVBit?
