Can anyone help me please.
I am using Easy CD Creator 9 on a Dell Dimension 5150. I have been trying to do a slideshow in Videowave. The program is copying the sldies okay, but when I try and add Audio Tracks there is no sound. The program seems to record all the slides and ttacks, I get no error message showing during the process, but when try to preview it all I get is the photos and no Audio.

If the audio tracks are from a download source such as ITunes, you cannot add them directly to the project.

If they are not from a download, and if they are mp3, use Sound Editor to convert them to wav files. Sometimes the program doesn't like a particular mp3 format trying to be used.

I went into videowave added the photos, then I tried to add tracks from a CD and it would not let me do this as they were protected tracks. I then downloaded some tracks into my documents and stored them there. All the tracks play . When I tried to do the slide show again I went through the program as per videowave, added the slides, then pressed the icon for adding music tracks, the program started running and during the process there were no error messages at all. On completing the task when I played the disc back the slides were perfect but no music.

Try doing the slideshow in Photo - Create Slideshow and see if the music plays.

Are you seeing that the audio tracks are there in the Timeline view?? When I create a production in Videowave, I usually use the effect selector and media selector and keep them docked on the side of my workspace. If I want to add audio, I just go into the media selector, find where my audio tracks are located in My Documents, and then drag them into my production in the Timeline view. I might remember when I first started using EMC9 that I had some problems with the audio not working even though the music was definitely there. I think by saving the VW production, closing out, and then reopening it, it worked for me. I do remember having these problems way back but haven't experienced them again and have no idea why it happened. Maybe you are having the same problems. I assume that you've done the above and still have no success since your post is a few days old. Sorry I can't help!! Try the other 2 suggestions.

Unless those files on the CD are mp3 files, you can't just copy them to the hard drive, you have to rip them to the hard drive.

You haven't answered Steve's (sknis) post, so no one but you knows what the audio files are, and any suggestions are merely shooting in the dark.
