hi - im new and need help please!! im not a computer wizard so please be nice! i have just installed toast with jam 5 which i have had in the cupboard brand new for years! im running on mac os x 10.4.10...every time i try to open toast it quits unexpectadly...is this a compatibility problem? i notice that i cant upgrade from roxio site so am now thinking i cant use my toast with jam! any ideas or help greatly appreciated.

Toast 5 originally didn't work with OS X. There were updates that made it compatible. Yours may be prior to that version (which I think is somewhere around 5.1.3. I don't know if Jam 5 ever had an OS X version. In any case, they weren't designed to work with QuickTime 7.2.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
