I don't have DVDit Pro HD but and older DVDit.

Can the new DVDit Pro HD burn HD DVD and Blue ray to regular DVD-R and be play back on HD DVD / BLue Ray players?

I don't have a HD DVD or Blue Ray burner but have HD Camcorders and LG HD DVD / Blue Ray player.

DVDit Pro HD supports Blu-ray output but not HD DVD output.  you can output an image or volume and then burn that to DVD-R.

I don't believe the LG player supports BDMV Blu-ray discs on burnable media.
