Hi there

I purchased a plextor dvd burner and I got easy media creator 9.0 (Roxio Easy Media Creator Home
Version: 9.0.183
). There are two problems so far.

1. The caputure/import buttuon in mydvd is always grey-out. when I click on it nothing happens..Any solution?

2. Disc copier does not show a dvd video folder so I can not use it to copy a dvd video folder...any suggestions?

I have P4 1.7 Ghz, windows xp sp2.

Thanks.

You probably have an OEM version which will be missing some of the apps which come with the full suite.

Not knowing what particular OEM version you do have, it's impossible for most of us here to say just what would be missing

If the program was included with your Plextor burner then you have a OEM version.

The full retail version is called Easy Media Creator 9 Suite.

If it has Disc Copier, then use the drop down box by Source, and you will see browse for Video file.

Hi there

I just tried to clean-install EMC 9.0.. Which is a LE edition...What is LE stands for..? Is it not a full version?

It does have a disc copier but, it shows my 2 optical drive only..it does not show a dvd video folder option.

Also import/capture button is looks like diabled...when I click it does not do anything?? How am I going to capture video files from a DV camera Now...? I tried to connect my camera through a firewire card but still the import button does not work...Any idea?

Thanks

Your Disc Copier doesn't have a dropdown arrow, like below?

LE is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) version and will in almost every case be both cut down and modified.
