Hi.

I been doing HomeVideos and Slideshows and applying"special effects" by going to
Tool->Effect Selector->and dragging in transitions.

It is always the same. Does Roxio has different effects for pictures? or maybe I can download it from somewhere (libraries)? or do I have to pay extra for it?

Thanks,

I am confused at what you mean by always the same.  There are several hundred transitions, I believe.  That is a lot of effects.

sorry for not been clear.

I wanted to add pictures to different types of effects (objects).
example:
[
    -place a picture into a book,
    -place a picture on a bottle.
    -or on\into any other objects.
]

right now, between each picture an effect could be applied. what I was thinking is placing the images on different type of objects ( that could also be moving....), to make the pictures look more interesting and than apply transition between the pictures.

I hope it makes sense what I am trying to do..

Thank you.

I hope it makes sense what I am trying to do..

Put the image of the book, bottle, or other object on the main story line; put your image on the internal track for that book, bottle, etc as a overlay. Adjust size, placement and movement of the overlay.

Here is an example. Once you get this far, you can adjust the transparency to make it look more like it is on the mug. You can get some nice special effects by adding movement (like a spin in)

I added a book with an image.  I took a little more care to rotate it and to use some transparency.  Text added and rotated and some transparency would make it look like it was original.  Try this on two images in series and add the page turn transition for another effect.
