I am trying to send CD audio files ( disc image) prepared in Toast to another location over the internet and then importing these (disc images) and burning in a PC...I tried audio CD, but I can only import as a 1 long song in the PC(no tracks but one long track) I also tried to send as data disc (Mac/PC iso) and uploading this info in the same PC ,but the files are unrecognised by the PC. So I was wondering if there was any compatibility between Toast and easy cd creator that would let me do this?

Thanks

Ray

You need an application that reads Sound Designer File Format (.sd2f) properly. The ones you've tried on the PC are seeing the file as one big AIFF (or WAV) file. That's also what happens when you drag the .sd2f file into iTunes. I'll ask a PC guru what might work with these.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Ok guys I'm not a Mac person but in researching this I found this
If Toast will do this then you could convert it to Bin/Cue and in Roxio's EMC products just burn the disc from the image.

Yes, Toast can save as Bin/Cue instead of as a .sd2f disc image. Thanks for the tip.

I have converted to a bin/cue but I now have 3 images on my desktop....one called My CD.bin another My CD.cue and finally a third My CD.CDT....not having a PC myself, wich would I send to my PC buddy, so they can open and burn the CD at their end?

Thanks
