When I am in Media import and select video, then the drive were the DVD is located. I get the dvd title but no chapter or content information. These are non-commercial dvd's so there is not a security issue.
WHen the DVD is viewed in disc info, all the information is provided.
Look at setting etc and have found not problems. For what ever reason, media import is not seeing the dvd disk information i.e. chapters
any suggestions?

Are you sure that there are chapters? Most software defaults to not creating chapter marks. Do you at least get the movie listed?

I tried several DVD's. they would list the title at the top but provide nothing in the content area to play or access. These are my DVD's and not commercial ones that are write protected.
I would be haapy to capture anything as I can then edit out what I want for class.
THis is a new dell which can with the card and software.
