I am trying to install Toast 7 on Mac 10.4.1 and keep getting error message DS store couldn't install because read/write can't be found (or something like that) and I get an error -36.....is the disk defective, and if so what to do? Thanks in advance.

Go to Roxio's software update page and download the Toast 7.1.2 update. It is the entire application and doesn't need an earlier version to be previously installed.
