Hi all I have been using Easy CD & DVD Creator Version 6 for a while, I have just purchased Easy Media Creator Version 9, when I go to drag files / photo's to Drag to Disk it tells me that “This disk is Read only” but if I do a restore back to version 6 it lets me copy the files / photo's, are the disks that I created in version 6 compatible with version 9?

You are correct! However if you are using D2D for any archive purpose, compatibility is the least of your worries!
Here is a summary of V9 – By the way, packet writing was dropped in the V9.1 update, V10 and Nero8 so you are using the last version of it.

XP is end of life, from here forward it is Vista. Maybe not "official" but that is the way MS works.
So while you may be technically correct, to anyone replacing a computer tomorrow will find your assurances irrelevant!

I have heard other rumors that with the warm fuzzy feelings that the majority are having for Vista, XP might be here longer than MS first thought. Where my wife works they just bought a few hundred Dells and not one of them has Vista.
I wonder is Vista is going to be MS's next ME???
