Someone erroneously pushed the updater button on my Power Mac G4 (Pro Tools Digi 001 rack limits my update options)and a Quicktime 7 something update was installed.
That resulted in  Toast 5.2.1 presenting with the 'spinning ball' when I tried to load a wav file, but today it loads wav, mp3 and aiff files, the counter seems to be advancing the 'play',but the audio is still gone.  Help!

Why are you using Toast 5.2.1? You should be able to use iTunes for this and it is compatible with the latest QuickTime.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
