Our church is making a christmas DVD, with the kids, to be played during the Christmas service. We have taped 12 differant scenes. I have loaded these scenes onto the computer using Roxio. They are now on my harddrive. I have been reading these help discussions, now for two days, and am very confused about where to begin. My question is... I want to add differant music to 4-5 of the scenes and want to crop another scene. Where do I begin? Do I begin, with the VideoWave program to add music and crop the scenes, then go to MyDvd to put it all together? Or what? I guess I'm just asking in what order do I precede. It's making me nervous, as this project fell into my lap, and alot of people are wanting it to come out good. I have read the user guide and it doesn't give near the info as this discusiion board. Any help would be appreciated, as I don't have enough time to play around with this program and discover new things. Thanks!!!

I have seen that tutorial. So I start out with VideoWave? That's what I'm asking. Also, I'm going to put together two of the scenes into one. I want to add a song, Little Town of Bethleham, to these scenes. There are speaking parts in the second scene toward the end. My question is, if I add this song, will the speaking part still be there, or will the song override the speaking part? I want the music to go down in volume, toward this speaking part, so the kids will be heard. Thanks, again for any info.

And you have seen this tutorial as well?
Yes, you start out with Videowave.
Both the speaking part and the song will be there. And depending on the volume of the audio that came with each, one might overpower the other one.
To hear the speaking part, edit the song to lower (or totally mute) the audio in the time frame where there is speaking part. To edit the song, double click the song file in Timeline mode.
