There are 2 pinned posts, Here, that cover most things LightScribe.
Thanks for the reply, never knew that I could reuse it after it being used. But even if I can it still does not solve the no image nor data getting burnt onto the label side of the LightScribe

Did you select the Label and only the label for your printout?
If yes, I would propose downloading and running the 'Diagnostics Tool' from
http://www.lightscribe.com
That small tool will test your registry for wrong entries regarding lightscribe and repair them if necessary.

Yes I did that and it tested OK.... When I had the trial version of Nero Burn it worked I was able to burn labels. Got hooked on it, When it expired, I chose to upgrade my Roxio 6 because it is great for making music CD's.. Now I am trying to use it to do my Labels and does not seem to work

For testing, if it's a burner or a software problem you can download the free 'LightScribe Tamplate Labeler' from http://www.lightscribe.com

Hi! You are not alone! I am having same issues with label burning. Mine starts to burn and when complete... all I have is a partial burn, normally a thin circle. Very frustrating!. I just installed NERO 8 hoping this would resolve but no luck. I plan on installing lightscribe diagnostic tool later and hope to resolve but not counting on it. I hope someone can shine light on this...

You picked the LightScribe text template. Pick any normal template, make changes that you want, then print to your LightScribe burner.

Of course it works. You were trying to use a text template to try to put your images on. That won't work. You saw that. LightScribe drivers and software updates have to be installed to burn to a LightScribe disc with ANY software that you use. It isn't a 3rd party software. And, the Roxio software doesn't suck. You just need to be patient and learn how to use it.
Oh, and you're welcome.
