The software is trying to install and update it looks like but it cannot find the file UM.MSI and neither can I as it does not appear to be on the hard drive.  I have the most recent update to 9 and cannot figure out what the program is looking to install.  This is incredibly frustrating. Can anyone help?

Yes, all seems well once I followed the Roxio instructions as suggested.  A complete uninstall with a clean up of the registry and then a reinstall and upgrade seemed to be working so far.  I have my fingers crossed.

Good!  And thanks for coming back and posting that it worked.  It helps to know whether or not a suggestion works.
