Hi. Can anyone tell us if Toast 7 (and/or Toast 8) is compatible with Leopard?

Thanks!

Just used 7.1.2 with an error as I wanted to make a dvd image from a dv file.
Worked fine in 10.4.

Couldn't complete the last command because of a Mac OS Error

Result Code = -13780

I have the same problem with Toast 7.1.2 and Leopard... it won't make any dvd images at all from anything, as far as I can tell. I tried making a DVD from a divx avi... even making a bin/cue image fails.

Odds are that Roxio won't patch this as it's the old version, but I have no desire to purchase Toast 8. Bummer.

Same problem here. You can burn fine using a Burn Folder, but Toast 7 is broken. So, guess what? Toast 8 works. Pony up you $80 folks....

I have the same problem with 7.1.2. However, Toast 7.1 seems to work without any problems.

Remove Toast 7.1.2 and reinstall without the update and it will work just fine.

Just so it gets picked up by search engines with the actual text of the error message:

Could not record the disc because of a Mac OS Error.

I can verify that removing v7.1.2 from my Intel iMAC and resinstalling v7.0.1 from my CD resolved the error issue on OSX 10.5x. I'm able to burn properly. I hope they fix 7.1.2 with 10.5 soon. blink.gif

I went ahead and upgraded to 8. While it has a lot of features I won't use, it works. I'm not going to bet any money they will upgrade 7.

Can I assume that CD Spin Doctor version 3 will not be updated?
If so, what version comes with Toast 8?
...and if that is broke too, are you updating it?

Thank you,
Greg

I had the same problem so I deleted 7.1.2 and reinstalled 7.0 and it seems to be working.

Correct - the issue was specific to Toast 7.1.2.

It will be corrected soon in 7.1.3.

Yes and yes - CD Spin Doctor updaters for both Toast 7 (CDSD 3) and Toast 8 (CDSD 4) are in the works.
