Click on Start, Click on Run, then type msconfig in the text box, and click okay.  When the next screen comes up, click on the Startup tab, and uncheck all the Roxio boxes, including the Drag to Disc box.

Click on Apply, then OK, then reboot, and when the popup comes up, after Windows loads, put a check in the box in the lower left corner, so it doesn't come up again on the next bootup.

I removed Drag to Disc when I loaded EMC9 [9.1.068]. Is it a good idea to also remove Roxio Media Manager?  I do not know much about it and do not use it that I know of.

If it is running in the tray, and you don't use it, I would disable it.
