Hi...
I have a Dell Dimension 2400 that came with Sonic RecordNow 6.5.3. I got hit with a virus and was advised to backup what I needed and reformat the hard drive.
I backed up the data using the Veritas Simple Backup within RecordNow. Did a test backup and restore, too - no problems.
I reformatted my hard drive and did a restore. Reloaded 6.5.3 from the Dell disc. Went to restore my personal files from the backups only to find that 6.5.3 now treats the Backup as an upgrade.
Can anybody help me recover my 5 dvd's worth of personal data?
Thanks,
George
