I bought a new computer which included Easy Creator 9 .
It will not allow me to copy vinyls to cd's.
Does anyone know why or is it me no knowing something , seeing as 8 does it.
Do I have to pay full price to buy another one to get this facility or does Roxio offer upgrades at a lesser price.
Seems to me like a bit of a con trick between Dell and Roxio to fool the customers

My Dell came with Roxio 9 DE which is a OEM version with limited function. I ordered Creator 9.0 Suite and it did include the feature your looking for. If you decide to order a new a full version I would consider ordering Roxio 10 suite, since it works with Vista better. You might want to check the forum for installation tips since the version 9 and 10 suite are a bit pain to get intalled correctly or that what I experenced when I first installed 9.

Use Easy Audio Capture.

The 'special; ratyes' normally only apply to people upgrading from one version to the next - I don't think they apply to someone with a cut-down OEM version
btw - the OEM version is one which was modified by Dell and bundled free with their computers. HP also have one as do some optical drive makers. There's no 'con trick' on the part of anyone here - you are getting a cut-down version - free, gratis and for nothing. If you want the full version, you have to purchase it. At least it isn't a time-limited one like some apps

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

There is a way to upgrade from oem to full version.
From within the Creator DE (Dell Edition) version that they have, they should see a banner for C10. If they click on the banner, it will take them to a co-branded landing page where they will be eligible to purchase C10 for $69.99 (instant savings).

Thanks everyone for your replies. I apologise for the delay in acknowledging but had to go away for a few days.
I am not sure now about going for the full versionof Roxio. They seem to have a pretty dodgy reputation for after Sales/
Thanks again
