No audio in toast or jam

I've checked prefs for Toast and Jam - system prefs for MAC and I can't find the issue anywhere. All my volume controls are up - every other application closed..... still no audio playback in Jam or Toast.
Help please!

Check that Audio Midi Setup in your Utilities folder is selected to the correct output. Other than that I can't think of any reason for this problem that you haven't already checked.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Just checked there too.

All is as it should be.

I've had the audio playing previously.... no new updates/installs. iTunes audio plays just fine.

Shucks.... this stinks.



woo-hoo.....

unchecked and rechecked an option to reset the audio prefs to what they were.....

voila!

back in action.
