I have the beta version of Tivo Transfer 1.1.1 from the Popcorn 3 beta release which is supposed to have fixes. It still doesn't work, it starts a transfer and then just stops a couple of seconds after.

I've come to the conclusion that if Tivo or Roxio weren't so worried about copy rights and what you can and cannot transfer the software would work. Come on, all we're trying to do is transfer a file from one drive to the other. How hard can that be...???

Just for the record, I've used just about every Tivo Transfer software from all the Windows versions to all the mac versions. NONE of them have ever worked right, all my transfers have always stopped after a few seconds. In all the years I've been a Tivo user, I must have gotten a dozon files to transfer for me right and what makes it worse it has been with TivoDecode Manager. A software that I didn't even pay for.

Tivo / Roxio... I don't even care anymore what or who is causing the problem... Just let me transfer a file from one machine to the other... that's all, that simple.... a successful transfer. Is that too much to ask for considering I paid $100....????

I don't know why you were unable to make successful transfers and conversions with Toast Titanium 8 prior to the Tivo Upgrade and Leopard. I have made dozens of successful transfers and conversions until the Tivo Upgrade cobbled the conversion process. On my iMac which still has Tiger as the operating system, I can still transfer shows just fine - but I cannot convert them into anything that will load onto a portable device (or burn onto a dvd or play on my Apple TV).

If you were unable to make successful transfers and conversions prior to the Tivo Upgrade, there must have been something else wrong, because the software worked beautifully (if slowly).
