I'm burning a bunch of files to a set of DVDs. On DVD #15 out of 30 total, it says "The file "iTunes Library" could not be accessed. (Data fork, -39)." - what's going on? I can still see iTunes Library on the disk; this is very annoying since if I quit now, I've wasted 15 DVDs and a whole bunch of time. How do I get it to recognize the folder or at least skip it and keep going with other things on the backup list??

Sounds like "bit rot" on your hard drive.
Files in classical mac os had "data" and then some "more data" in a separate fork. Even Windows NT supports this slightly strange concept, but only virus writers use it in windows. Mac OSX stopped using forks in a big way, but iTunes is a legacy app. Anyway, the fork sounds corrupt. I suspect you will see the same problem if you try to copy the directory to an external drive.
