I recently downloaded the Toast 8.0 software so that I could do the Tivo transfer. When I went to extras to select Tivo transfer it indicated that Tivo transfer was not found? Does anyone know what I didn't do or need to do to make this work? blink.gif
Thank you.

I had the same problem. Rerun the setup wizard and on the last screen make sure that the "Enable Tivo Transfers" line is checked. For some reason that has turned off several time on me. Then the tivo transfer program will just magically show up.

No magic for me I guess...

This does not work in my case. My whole system is set and this is the only thing I have left to do. It won't work and the Roxio information does not bring up any other solutions. They also don't acknowledge that this is a known issue, even though several people have brought it up. I've enabled TiVo transfers at least 20 times in the setup assistant over a 6 hour period and it does not stick. If there are any other suggestions out there, please let me know!

Same for me. I am running Leopard with the latest updates. I purchased Toast 8 on recommendation of Tivo, and Roxio to allow for Tivo transfers. That's the only reason. I don't use Roxio products for any other purpose.

This inability to work out of the box seems pure $ fraud. Sell products that work out of the box or REMOVE THEM AND GIVE YOUR USERS A REFUND!!!!!!!!

Cindy - did you ever end up getting this corrected? I just installed Toast8 for the TivoToGo feature and the same thing happened to me? I updated the software but I still can't figure this out?

I had the same problem; I kept getting "Tivo Transfers could not be open because it cannot be found" when clicking Extras in the Toast menu.
I reinstalled TivoToGo and Toast v 8.03
Turned on the Tivo Desktop in the System Preferences
Enabled Tivo Transfers in the Toast Setup Assistant
And it worked fine

Hope this helps....
