This is a pain and I don't know what's wrong.  There's no download update available for v7.3 as far as I can see.  Here's the problem:

When I first boot up, I can open Sonic RecordNow just fine.  I burn a CD, close the ap and do other things.  When I go back and try to open the RecordNow ap, it won't open and I have to reboot the computer, getting the message, "RecordNow.exe is running, do you want to close?" , i.e. for some reason, even tho I've closed the ap, it continues to run somewhere in the background.  What's up with this

The problem is with Windows Media Player 11.  If you have a Dell or IBM computer, there is a fix.  Look back through some of the postings on this topic, and see if you can find a link that someone posted for the Dell fix.  IBM has a complete set of revised programs that solve this problem.  If you can't do anything else, try cnt alt del to bring up the task manager and END TASK the Recordnow.exe program.  This will save rebooting.

Best of luck,
Fred
