Hii.., i'm just new using EMC 9 and during the first time i used it to burn video files into a DVD-R disc, it was completed with an error that said one or more files didn't compare to their originals. I'm shutting down all other applications during the next burning process to the very extreme of shutting down my antivirus suite but to no avail.

Here is the code that came together with the error:

Sense: 03  ASC: 11  ASCQ: 05 (Command 28)
-------------------------------------------------------
Px.dll: 4.0.36.500
PxAFS.DLL: 4.0.36.500
pxdrv.dll: 1.2.9.0
PxMas.dll: 4.0.36.500
PxSFS.DLL: 4.0.36.500
PxWave.dll: 4.0.36.500
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3

So, i'm wondering if this problem happened because of the burning software, the DVD-R disc i used or incompatibility of the burning software and my operating system itself. For information, i'm using Maxell 1-8x Speed DVD-R disc and my operating system is Windows XP Home Ed. (Service Pack 2) Intel Pentium M Processor 1.70 GHz, 504 MB of RAM.

I hope i'd provided necessary information for anyone here to assist me. Thank you.

Are we to assume you used Creator Classic to burn with?

The error has absolutely nothing to do with software. That error is a problem with the drive or the media.

Try a different brand such as Verbatim or TDK.

In addition, you might want to try this update step 6 (link) listed in the Knowledge base articles.
