Hi gang

I'm new to the club so forgive me if I'm going over old ground in my quest for help.

Problem is that I downloaded and installed my EMC9 (which I was told is fully Vista compatible) but since then my cd/dvd drive has disabled. System manager shows "error 10". On hunting around the Roxio website, I did find reference to a known problem and downloaded the appropriate "patch" to fix the problem. It didnt work!. I have also tried a "restore" to earlier date but that didnt work either.

I am running Vista home premium.

Can anyone assist, I'd be most grateful

It is a MS problem that first started in XP.

Try This.

If it doesn't work, post back.

Thanks for taking the time James. Unfortunately, tried and failed!
