I have Roxio Creator Basic V9 that came installed on me laptop computer. When I am connected to the internet the program works. However if I am not connected to the internet I get a windows error message saying that the Program has stopped working. What can I do to correct this problem?

You have a modified version supplied by an OEM. Contact them about this problem.

That is a common problem with the OEM versions of the software that comes with the computer. I don't think there is a cure, but you can contact the manufacturer of your computer and see if they have the fix.

That problem does not happen with the retail versions of the software.
