When I import my video from my camcorder to my computer (using Dazzle DVC 80), the picture quality is great.  The video looks exactly how it does when I play it back on my camcorder and/or when I connect my camcorder to my T.V.  Now, after I have finished editing my video on VideoWave [EMC8] and go to render it, what settings should I use to keep the good picture quality?  Because when I select the settings for DVD PLAYBACK and BEST, my videos always come out pixelated and the audio is missing.  When I try customizing my own render settings, I have SO many choices to chose from to Render the Video part, that I have no idea which one to pick.  Which rendering settings yields the BEST PICTURE QUALITY?  Like to get the same picture quality as I had before the rendering?  WHAT RENDER SETTINGS DO YOU GUYS USE???? :)

I want to know because no matter what setting I chose, my outcome is always pixelated and my cousin is getting married this weekend and I'm going to make him a wedding movie, so I want it to turn out good with THE BEST PICTURE QUALITY.

Thnx in advance!

A Dazzle 80 is not the best quality capture device.

A DVD Movie at Best Quality is 720 X 480, 29.97fps @ 9mbps. If your source file is less than that, you will get lots of pixies!

Using VW, right click on your source file and look at its' Properties. These are the numbers you want to output at.

How can I find out what my source files information is? (ie-720 X 480, 29.97fps @ 9mbps).  Where do I go?

OK, I'll make it larger…

PLEASE DON'T DOUBLE POST (YES, I'M YELLING). You are going to get answers that may confuse you since you will not be able to keep track of what was posted when.

Also do you have a "80" device or an "85" device as in your signature? you should be able to capture to an avi file if it is the 85,
