Hi, we keep getting this error message (below), we are using Sonic MYDVD version 5. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Or can it only be solved by upgrading to a higher version of Sonic MYDVD? Thanks for any help. biggrin.gif

Could not complete the last command DVD –illegal audio wasn’t transcoded (DVDErr, -31000) pgc info: name = movie 0, ref = GApgc, time = 0

Is the audio from a copyrighted disc? Roxio will not import copyrighted material.

No it's from a disk we made of home video's, we put them onto dvd through our dvd recorder, then put them into Sonic my dvd. Thanks

Does the DVD play OK on the PC (Windows Media Player for example)? You can also try going directly to the .VOB files located in the VIDEO_TS directory on the DVD.
