Hi,
I am trying to burn a 2h 13m Full DV Quicktime file to a DVD-R using Toast 7.
I know I've burned large files in the past with no problem, so not sure what is happening this time around. When I click Burn, I am alerted that I need 3GB more free space.
The green bar indicating how much space is left on the DVD is well below the max. I even tried chopping the movie in half and adding it and I still got the space message.
I tried saving the file as an image and still got the space message.
Do you think the message is just an error that I should ignore?

If it is "disk" then there isn't enough free space on the hard drive where you've located the Converted Items folder. If it is "disc" then it is free space on the optical disc. I think it probably is the former in your case, so go to Toast Preferences and change the location for the Converted Items folder to a drive that has more space.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
