HELP...SOMEONE PLEASE.

Because of a virus on my computer, my hard drive had to be reformatted.

I felt confident that I had Roxio backup on an external hard drive but I cannot retrieve any files.  The file type is $CP File and Roxio Retrieve will not recognize the files.
