Can I create a CD on my PC that can be read on a Mac?

I have Roxio 8. Can I create a CD of .jpg's that can be viewed on a Mac?

MAC's are odd creatures so I suggest you use an RW disc.

If you use Creator Classic, newer MAC's can read Joliet File System. Older ones will need to be set to ISO9660.
