I have a canon HDV10. If this isnt incl in the "supported capture devices" does that mean i have wasted money in buying this product?
I am having issues with the "import/capture" ........

How do you have it connected to your pc? If you are using theincluded USB cable, that's probably why it's not recognized. You need to get a Firewire cable and connect it using a firewire port.
