I have a power mac G4 and I recently updated my Mac form 10.4.10 to 10.4.11. Now when I open Toast 6 every time I add the wave File I want to use to burn a CD....IT makes this static distorted sound while playing the music file. I have never come across this problem before but I notice it has just recently happened. My first guess was it was time to upgrade and also the fact that 10.4.11 is POWER PC....DOES THAT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. Please I would be really happy if someone could help because I do alot of music production and recording then burn to toast...time is not really on my side!!!

I don't know what the problem might be because I don't use Toast 6 any more. It also could be related to Quicktime 7.3. Roxio stopped updating Toast 6 a long time ago and Apple has made many changes in that time. Given the importance of your work, I think you should upgrade to Toast 8.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
