Adding/export. FLAC to AIF error in OS 10.5 Cannot add FLAC files to export

I am a newbie so excuse this if I'm missing something basic but... I have OS 10.5 and Toast 7.1 and I want to export FLAC music files to Itunes-compatible formats. It worked once but now when I drag or add the flac files I get a "Unsupported formate/cannot add" message from the Toast program. Has anyone figured a way around this and/or what am I doing wrong?

Probably one of the incompatibilities between Toast 7 and Leopard. See this post:
