Roxio MVP,

I just installed Roxio Creator 9 XE.    Most of the applications are working fine. Like copy disk and roxio classic seem ok.    But when I go to Roxio Home and click on MYDvd  I get the following error:  videowave9.exe application error .....memory could not be read.    And the video player called cineplayer will not launch either.   Any idea why getting the above error and why cineplayer wont start.   Are these video card issues?

Thanks

Mark

You have a OEM version of Roxio, contact the supplier of the OEM. These are cut-down  versions of the full Roxio retail version, so whether it contains MyDvd or Cineplayer, only another fellow user with that same version would know.

Here is one example of your software  http://www.softwareblowouts.com/rocr9xeoem.html

Roxio,

What is a cut down version.   Is the OEM version EMC 9 the same as the retail box version?  What is the difference between the two?   If you have OEM version can you use the discussion boards?

Thanks

No, it is not the same.  Some programs are missing, and the programs that are in the OEM version are light versions of the same program in the Retail version.

Roxio,

Do you know if the cineplayer is included in the OEM version?   I thought it was.  Do you know for sure?

Thanks

Contact wherever you got your OEM version. Most of the users on here have the full retail version, and we have no idea what the OEM provider includes with their version.

We are users of the software, not Roxio.
