When I import video clips into MyDVD projects using "Add Media", all video clips appear milky, or as though a curtain is in front of the video.    When I play the video using any other program, such as Windows Media Viewer, the video is 100% OK.    I have upgraded my video display software and re-installed EMC9, all to no effect.

Exactly what type of file are you using?  I'm not familiar with Windows Media Viewer unless you mean 'Player' but if it plays in WMP, you should have no problems in EMC.
Also, I've had projects that don't seem right in the preview screen but ended up playing just fine.  You can try burning to an image file or video folder before burning to disc and see how the project comes out.  It may be just fine.

Yes, I did mean Windows Media Player.    I have even burned a trial DVD and it is also milky - not on the sub-menu page, but  on the buttons and playing of the video and slideshows.
