I'm trying to install Easy Media Creator 9 Deluxe Suite on a Windows 2000 SP4 box and after it's installed I'm unable to run the program, I get a "The certificate file is missing or corrupt.  Please re-install it." error.

I've uninstalled the program, removed it from the C: drive, and removed it from the registry and tried reinstalling but still get the error.  I noticed when I first install the program I get a dialog box that says "The following products are not supported on the current operating system.  These products will not be installed:  Foxio XingTones, Roxio SoundSoap, Roxio SightSpeed, Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 Suite, Drag-to-Disc"

I thought this was supported on Windows 2000 but I'm finding conflicting information.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

EMC 10 won't work on Windows 2000, but EMC 9 does.  You have EMC 9 Deluxe, so I don't know why you would be getting that notification.

Unless Bruce the OP hasn't updated to SP4 which is the minimum requirement for 9.0.

Also 9.1 won't install on 2000 at all, even as an 'update' to 9.0

Thanks for that correction Daithi.  I had seen no posts on EMC 9.1 and Windows 2000 but did see one on EMC 10 and Windows 2000.

Guess that's the problem, we received EMC 9.1 Deluxe.  How do we got about getting version 9.0 instead?
