creator 10 videowave VIDEO WAVE CRASH IN FAST FORWARD

When using creator 10 with Video Wave, in the fast forward or fast reverse, the picture freezes up. The sound will continue on, but the picture will be frozen. After closing program a pop come up. VideoWave 10 has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I am using an HP Notebook, HP Paviliondv2500, Process Int® core @2.00GHZ

Since you have a laptop, the suggestion of changing out your video card is not viable. In VideoWave, go to the top menu, select tools then options and put the dot next to software. You'' lose the 3D transitions and a few more but it should run. You laptop is slow for good video editing so if you press too many buttons at once, it may lock up. If you are working with mpg2 files, the program has to decode and then encode which would also slow things down. Try working with AVI files.
